![Vandana > December 24, 2012 - 'The Monterey Mural' - In the heart of downtown Monterey California is the Monterey Conference Center, and on the building, facing the corner of Del Monte and Pacific Streets, is The Monterey Mural, a huge tile mural by noted artist Guillermo [Bill] Wagner Granizo.
It was put in place in 1984. The mural is packed with images of the history of the Monterey Bay area, from Native Americans to Spaniards to farmers to suburbanites.

1. January - Sunset @ Arthur Ravenel Bridge, Charleston. Our last trip to Charleston before we left the east coast for good :)
2. February - Aquarium @ Myrtle Beach.
3. March - 38 week pregnant Vandy amidst white blossoms @Freedom Park, Charlotte.
4. April - Easter views from our tiny apartment balcony in Charlotte
5. April 18, 2012 - Arjun arrives @ Charlotte Presbyterian
6. May - At the largest zoo in NC
7. June - Exploring a possible move to CA. Vandy drops by the Smugmug main office in Mountain View, amidst interviews in the East Bay.
8. Aug - Moved from NC to CA on the longest Amtrak trip ( Zephyr ) in the US! We visit Yosemite on Vandy's birthday to celebrate!
9. Oct - Halloween
10. Nov - A long weekend @Mt Shasta
11. Dec - A hypothetical long trip to Monterey turns into a 1-day affair as Arjun falls ill- end up spending the whole week R&R at home.
