Feb 10, 2006 - At Bitterlake National wildlife Refuge, NM. right up at the entrance, this guy stared at us, then ran off.. the coyote -apparently I just found out - no wolves in New Mexico - after mass extermination. now USFWS is attempting a revival, but endangered.. Jon Waterman was right in that book where mountains are nameless re the wolves :(
