it's been a while since I shot some snow geese ! we have been going to Bosque in Jan the last 2 yrs and most of the snow geese leave early while the sandhill cranes stay on till Feb or so.. but this year, wow, huge numbers for this time of the yr, about 40K of them, all of them huddling together in a pond, and flying together often :) it was a wonderful sight to see !
