Bald eagles are so numerous and have gotten so accustomed to human presence, you can get really close to a bald eagle and take close-ups with a 100-300 & it doesn't mind! A bald eagle paradise if there is one. We must have shot a thousand or more Bald Eagle pics that day. Hop over to Vandana's EAGLES in UNALASKA gallery Susan took a detour to the local junkyard/landfill. The eagles like it there, she said. Sure enough, we spotted a bunch of them at the litter. Here's one of them.
