January 4, 2012 - A reddish egret in flight Lots of bird shots, being processed from Florida ! sorry, if it's getting boring :) ! thanks for the comments on my upside down composition yesterday ! late edit : thanks Gail ! this is a reddish egret and not a tri-colored heron as I previously thought. the tri-colored heron according to the guru - google is white underneath the wings.

December 26, 2011 - American white pelicans in flight, Everglades National Park near Gulf Coast Visitor Center. Back in Florida after the cruise !
November 30, 2011. Canada geese in flight. At the zoo, there's a largish watering hole to be shared by the rhino and the elephant. A large fleet of Canada geese have instead taken charge of that hole. They swim about in the water and fly back and forth when the larger mammals approach. edit: this is taken with Nikkor 70-200mm VR lens + 1.4x TC, nikon D 700.
