on December 28, 2012I love taking "after the rain" shots. I studied thios one for awhile and find it intriguing. Love it with both drops.

on August 2, 2006thanks all !
yes, sherstone, a door frame prob - I couldn't shoot these drops out, very windy..so a room wth glass doors on 2 sides, nice light but has some ugly frames and such..not built with photography in mind certainly !
Chandi - most macro stuff, 'cause they need so much f stop for any decent shot, more the better..so really need flash..
Curious Camel - I'm beginning to get a hang of what the drop picks up inside, but usually still surprised..I take a shot, check out the inside view, then try to focus better ! Thusie/LS - single drop here
thanks again !

on August 1, 2006Ther bud is a great suprise and shows up well. Wonder how it would look with just the one drop? Would probably loose something.

on August 1, 2006This is extremely cool. Do you try to get a something in there or does it just happen? The rosebud is so clear and sharp looking. What a wonderful surprise when you shot this one.

on August 1, 2006Wow! 'Worldlet' is right! You're getting really really good at these drop/macro shots.
For some reason, 'flash' never comes to my mind - I always try to do a shot with available light and so I'm surprised whenever I see such good lighting at such low apertures. Another of those in my list of things to try :)

on August 1, 2006It's so delightful! Like sherstone pointed out, now you have to perfect what's inside of the drop! It's really close though! Love it!
