red, green, drop
Used ISO 400 by mistake, was in bird mode I guess, macro 400 magnifies noise so much :(, but need to rotate 400mm with macro and wide-angle, otherwise they get upset

on January 7, 2007Thanks so much for taking time to reply Vandanna. I really appriciate it. I just answered your ?'s on my daily. Wow... 2-3 cm, that's really close. After taking several kitty shots I noticed the upside down bit and flipped the bag over :-)
You've probably allready seen it but if not, you might want to check out www.liquidsculpture.com He has some amazing shots.

on January 6, 2007thanks ! ID - the flower behind is the one, yes; and very close, about 2-3 cm behind, try various angles to get the reflection right, simple flowers work best, sometimes when the world is flowerless, I have used plastic ( ok, once!)..typically it's a regular sized flower that comes up as a minute reflection inside, upside down..I just discovered the reflection one fine day in a bunch of flowers, serendipity..

on January 5, 2007Great color and composition! I don't think the noise is a problem at all.

on January 5, 2007Amazing, stiking, beautiful! What little noise there is (if any) seems to add a sheen to it giving it a soft silky glow. Now please do tell - how you line up & set up to get the flower reflection inside? I can't seem to get it right. Is the red background the actual flower that's reflected? If so... maybe that's my problem... have I been using to small of objects to try and reflect?
