Jan 14, 2008 - How many snow geese taking off here ?!
Enmasse take-off as they usually do, creating the most impressive racket ! the noise is often so overwhelming, that I usually forget to take a pic !
Still processing pics from the Bosque trip over the weekend.

on January 17, 2008I know the answer, it's a trick question! Only two are taking off, the rest are landing ;) It's kinda cool to see such a massive bunch in one frame.

on January 17, 2008Impressive in a kind of Hitchcockian way. Honestly, it is a marvelous shot, but it would probably scare me too much to take the picture. (Do you ever worry about bird...er, uh...droppings?)

on January 17, 2008Incredible shot... sooo many birds, even Alfred Hitchcock would be shaken! From the thumbnail I had no idea that was what it would be. Very cool.

on January 17, 2008Amazing shot, I would be forgetting to take the shot as well. Cant get too close (underneath anyway) for fear of a surefire shot below....if ya know what I mean. With that many birds it's likely to end up the same way I did while touring Sean Cassidy's dressing room at Universal Studios in the 70's. Thanks for the memory.
