went walking at the Midwest Museum Park where everything seemed calm. Then came the storm, some trees down, power gone for a few minutes.., but it all seems trivial compared to what the people of Joplin, MO are going through. Hope things get back to some normalcy for them.

I am a friend of your brother and met you once in 1996 at your parents' home but don't expect you to remember. My sister (also, Vandana) was also at MAMC at that time (a few years behind you). I have come to your site a couple of times after Swami mentioned it a while ago. What prompted me to write today was that I was in the Everglades and Islamorada/Key West on the exact same days as you were. It would have been a nice surprise to bump into you there :)
