![December 24, 2012 - 'The Monterey Mural' - In the heart of downtown Monterey California is the Monterey Conference Center, and on the building, facing the corner of Del Monte and Pacific Streets, is The Monterey Mural, a huge tile mural by noted artist Guillermo [Bill] Wagner Granizo.<br />
It was put in place in 1984. The mural is packed with images of the history of the Monterey Bay area, from Native Americans to Spaniards to farmers to suburbanites.<br />
