Munnar Hills are in the range of 1600 to 1800 Mtrs (Highest Peak is about 5500 feet). The highest Tea Gardens in the world are in the Darjeeling District (in the state of West Bengal, India and now they are trying out Tea in the higher reaches of Arunachal Pradesh, the northeastern border state of India)

anyway the Munnar photos are lovely to say the least.

    Keep up the good work.

thank you, Antonio for the comments! sacrilege :) well, I did see it, Antonio, just not from the inside! Sometimes Indian bureaucracy and such can get on my nerves, and I got sufficiently angry that a national/historic monument could just be closed down without notice for one person! Don't think Shah Jahan who built it with much love many many years back must have intended it this way :). I don't know what I'm complaining about - I even speak Hindi - can't imagine how you travelled India, atom bomb and all - did you have a good guide or what ?!well, I loved the trip and India all the same :)
I know you mentioned the orange before, but I thought I corrected it - I'll check again, it maybe the ACR from Photoshop I use for RAW conversion - it sometimes gives me too reddish a deal for daylight white balance - guess it may need to calibrated or something.
thanks a lot, Antonio; value your comments always !
Portugal - My brother lives in Madrid, so hopefully Spain/Portugal trip soon, this or next year!

What a shame: You could not see the Taj Mahal !... Sacrilege.
We went to India the year Pakintan droped an atomic bomb.
    We are still alive...
Vandana: You do have a lot of work with your photos: you treat them and you write your story on them...
    I wish I had such a will.
The Taj from the back. The day we were there - I was making movies then - we took the camera and set on the floor. It was so warm...
Your photos are very nice but they look a little bit orange ... May be it is my monitor...
    Coming to Portugal ? ...
