thanks Thusie, Sue, Rutt and Paul ! Rutt - yes, I posed here :), the idea came when we saw this abandoned log cabin on the way to the Ghost Ranch. In the movie 'the Searchers' this is a defining moment. John Wayne there is a 'wanderer', an 'outsider' who prefers the wide open southwest to the indoors, even his family and friends - the movie starts and ends with such a scene.
'What makes a man to wander?

What makes a man leave bed and board
And turn his back on home?
Ride away, ride away, ride away'- from the movie.

It was real neat to be able to recreate such a scene! Our tribute to the Western !
