a trip over Columbus day weekend - October 8-10, 2011 from Charlotte, NC to Chimney Rock State Park, Blue ridge Parkway and to Smoky mountain National Park, TN. a spectacular time to visit with wonderful fall colors all over..

October 29, 2011 - Madhuchhanda, K and V at Bryson City, NC - we're meeting Madhu after about 10yrs, but we took off where we left off ! took a 4.5 cold, breezy train ride on the great smoky mountain railroad to view the fall in a open gandola..more pics to come later..
