November 16, 2011. V (17 weeks pregnant) looking out towards Pleasure Island, @Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area, NC.
pic by k. Right after k took this picture, he crouched down for a better viewpoint, slipped on the wet, mossy rocks and fell with a solid thud! Mild lacerations, no fracture etc. An old couple walking with a cane spotted k's fall from afar and came rushing down to his aid! It was quite a scene.
